Joe's live show gets reviewed in Interstate Live

Where to start. It's so sad that by radio standards last Friday night would be considered alt.Country, nothing I heard is anything but straight up country from the heart. Some of you may have seen my blog that was addressed to country music radio. This show is exactly what I was talking about. Joe Worrelland the Last Free Exit Band and Jason Boland are traditional country artists that do not compromise.
I dare country music radio to play more of this kind of music.

Joe Worrell plays all over the mid-west. Always a class act, Joe and the band always take time for the Fans. Playing a seamless mix of original and cover songs, the crowd always has a good time when Joe is onstage. (I will have an interview with Joe online soon so you can get to know him better) In this part of the country Chris Ledoux is a country music god. Not many bands have the balls to take “8 Second Ride” and make it his own, not only did it work it frikken rocked. Joe’s new album comes out this week you can hear it on his websiteWhere to start. Latest Write up in Oklahoma's Current Magazine!

Here is what was written in the latest issue of the Current!

In one example of J.R Spanky’s management reaching out to pull in a traveling band from outside the region, the club has become a regular stop for up and coming country star Joe Worrel. With a modern twist on traditional country, Joe Worrel has a lot in common with Texas and Oklahoma’s red dirt music scene. And in fact Worrel has played shows with Cross Canadian Ragweed and Willie Nelson. Worrel’s also been on the bill with country legends like Marty Stuart, Charlie Daniels and Reba McEntire; yet he has also shared the live stage with Jam bands like Govt. Mule, Yonder Mountain String band and Bela Fleck. With an upbeat, tight sound and timeless road dog approach, Joe Worrel is currently one of the most popular live performers in the country. He averages 250 shows a year. A nearly unthinkable pace for anyone but Worrel has the fire and brings it to each performance. Find out more about Worrel at www.joeworrel.com
